2017 Château des Jacques Moulin-à-Vent Clos de Rochegrès

We are very excited to learn that this wine scored 90 points from Wine Enthusiast: “Critic tasting note: “This estate, which has vines in both Moulin-à-Vent and Morgon, is well known for its richly structured wines. This bottling from a blend of vines is full of tannins, ripe blackberry fruits and acidity. Its future is assured, so wait to drink until 2021. Roger Voss“.

And, 16 points according to Jancis Robinson: “Cask sample. Bright healthy crimson. Quite a penetrating nose. Bitter cherries and great zest. Already very charming. Definite bitter note on the end. Quite long”.

2017 Château des Jacques Morgon Côte du Py

This wine scored 16.5 points from Jancis Robinson: “Cask sample. Dark glowing crimson. Very youthful, rather restrained nose. But there is clearly much going on underneath. Lots of fine tannins and bursting with health. High acidity evident currently”.
